After a successful career in banking and later working with MCI, Reynolds and Reynolds and lastly in Staffing/Recruiting, Tom founded Cornerstone Staffing Solutions in 2004. Over the past 20 years, Tom has built a dedicated team of individuals who helped Cornerstone Staffing Solutions become the company it is today.
Today, Cornerstone is led by his son, Barron Chandler, as we continue to build on Tom’s vision of providing the highest level of service and personal touch possible. Over the years Cornerstone has grown from serving just the Charlotte area to the Southeast and now Nationally. We are equipped with all the necessary tools and experience to support our clients throughout the country.

A Brief History
After years in the sales, technology and staffing game, Tom decided he was ready to do his own thing. His passion for being out in the trenches, meeting people face to face, listening and helping others succeed drove him to create Cornerstone Staffing.
Timeline
2004
Cornerstone Staffing is launched with the goal of being the best staffing service in the Charlotte area. Lance Foods was an early client where we placed over 200 people in 10 years, many of whom went on to become full time staff.
2011
After surviving the recession of 2010 we doubled our revenue and number of employees working. At this time we saw our business begin to take off.
2014
Wow what a decade it’s been. We celebrated ten years in business and are forever grateful to those who’ve trusted us along the way.
2018
Barron re-joins the team as Vice President, leading the team into it’s next phase of development and growth, while maintaining a family run business vibe.
